    Anyone tried using the IR receiver bundled w/the Blaupunkt RC-10?

    In the process of adding this remote to my setup; have looked at the guts of the IR receiver that comes w/the RC-10, and it looks a lot like the circuit described on the LIRC "homebrew" page.

    Has anyone futzed around with this receiver and gotten it to work with a PC's serial port, ala an LIRC receiver? Or should I lay off of the crack pipe?

    Hi, any success with this? I want to use it to control WinAmp or iGuidance in my CarPC.
