Also, forgot to ask,
do you know of an adaptor for the indash lcd?
Thanks.
Hi,
i have an 02 corsa, looking to build a carputer but want to get a few things sorted first.
there are 6 controls on the wheel, vol + / -, next / previouse & two mode buttons, i was wondering is there an adaptor available that i could plug into these so that i could use them with my carputer and use girder to map the keys?
if not, do you know how the are wired, ie theres a ground, then each switch has a live, or is it all digital as if it wasnt, i should be able to get a spare connector, and a cheapo gamepad, hack that apart and wire it up to the controls.
Any Ideas?
Thanks.

Use either a USB Gamepad or similar or hack up a PS2 Keyboard and use the PS2 Controller board to simulate keys. a search on google for Mame controller will probably help
i have a great keyboard emulator, it's an ipac2 board. do aand you'll find more info about it.
