Where is your knob?

Just wanted to know from everyone who is using a knob in their car, what encoder are you using (if possible the size of the knob required) and what know you are using and where you bought it from...

I'm looking for a know similar to the iDrive from BMW, and I'm using an alps encoder with rotary encoder+pushbutton+8way joystick... emulates all functions of the idriver if I could find a decent knob...

I'm gonna be using the knobs that came with my car. Its a turn knob and has a pushbutton. On the same module I have a knob that is weird. It has little "clicks" for each temp. Also has a push button.

Yeah, I roughly remember the lexus dash.... (My dad had one in the early 90's - amazing car... he still says its the best car he's ever owned)...

The alsp also has little "clicks", but I dont know where I'll find a decent knob to go with it....

The BMW original ones are 30bucks a piece... and I'm not even sure they would be adaptable to the alps encoder... the "stick" that comes out of it is really small... it needs to be a knob that has a very tight hole otherwise it will spin freely and be useless....
