I've encoded an activation "word" into one of the command sets. I use "iBug". Then the various commands for which application to open, or command to issue comes underneath that. The program then pairs the commands together so you get "iBug" + "open music" and the command you speak is "iBug, open music".

@Peoples - Maybe notch out the visor and embed it in there? I agree it's a good location for it. Take a look at what 0l33l did in his project file, he put it put along the top of the door, just above the window. It looked pretty good.

Sounds cool... the next NaviVoice version will have more control over the SAPI :)

BTW: I haven't installed my mic.

I just bought the USB version of the Logitech mic tonight. It works pretty damn good in the office. I'll give it a run in the truck tomorrow -- assuming I can find a clean way to install it. BTW, the USB circuit board has a Labtec logo on it. I guess that further confirms the sharing going on between the two companies.

hah yea that one works well i have it, yet to install. I hacked it up so the PCB can be under the dash and the mic can be up like im thinking some where around the rear view mirror. seing this makes me want to go install it right now...

What about mounting in the a-pillar? It seems that it would make the mic more on-axis there.

I bought this mic awhile back and have tested it in the house so far. Works well there so out to the truck it goes today for more testing. It's small and has double sided tape on the back already for mounting once I find a good location. The cable on it is 8' long too so no extending needed for me since my carputer is in my center console.
