It doesn't have the full I-bus like we know it today, but it should have a limited pre-IBUS which communicates in pretty much the same way. I'd love to get one and test it out. The whole setup is ready. Just need to work on the sound cause now I'm using an FM transmitter and I want to get better sound.

I cannot tell you for sure if it'll work. Can you post your backplate pic ?
If it does not work in SW, there will be a chance to make it work through the SW upgrade.
