Hmm, in my case steering wheel controls go to HU and then get routed to whatever active play source is. So HU is needed anyway![]()
so what joski? you can still use this to use your steering wheel buttons, etc.... (correct me jbors, but I think thats right)

My HU is also needed, I just relocated it to the glove compartment. So why don't you just relocate it?
Jbors, is this the CDC connector you were looking for? I mean does this fit the connector? I checked the photographs, but I couldn't make it out completely.
Sorry for the bad quality picture.
Hmm, hard to say. It does not look like what I have.
Just see in the manual which models of CD changers it supports. If it is Pre I-Bus that it should work, if something like C-Bus or even earlier Alpine then it would not.

Is this the manual? http://indashpc.org/vbullettin/viewtopic.php?t=92
I can't find any reference to specific CDC's. And the pictures on that thread do not like my CDC connector (If someone would be wondering, it's the white connector next to the big one).
The manual for your car.
The whole purpose of the beta testing is to find out which headunits will work.
I just can't test it myself on every possible carSo I cannot say upfront if it'll work in your car or not

Touareg harness is somewhat different from all VW and Audi models. So it won't be compatible. Not sure yet if they have somewhat different from PBus they use
to have. Will check it out soon.
[edit]It looks like they use just a different harness, the protocol is the same- PBus, so adapter will work fine but with some manual soldering[/edit]
