imo, it's not worth it, the price is only for the screen. the controller, p.u,& touchscreen controller need to be bought .... hmm not worth the time , unless u have everything ....

that's great how he's passing the buck, I wonder if anyone will buy one and then come *****ing to this forum when they realize they have to buy a bunch of crap to hook it up and don't have a clue how to do it...

"mwahahaha, i'll sell them for $180 and then make those mp3car guys do the tech support... for free... without asking them"
But don't take it from me! here's a quote from a real, live newbie:

Actually I bought one from him and he provides support for them as well as gives you schematics. Its not for everone if they are scared but its pretty simple to work on. I really like the screen as it crystal clear and really bright almos finished my car pc project with my porsche take a look in the fabrication for porsche just started and you will see the screen. Sometimes when you dont know something its better to ask that to really make assumptions

Wow what a ripoff.. I have that same screen in my Camaro, these panels are 640x480 and only I think 12 bit color so video does not look the best.. I got mine from one of the old DennisK setups nearly 3 years ago and I'm about to replace mine beacuse I hate 640x480.. and DennisK used to sell those bare panel w/ touchscreen for the longest time for a mere $39+sh.. Heres the thread from 3 years ago with all the info you'd need to get it running. With the prices of touchscreens now that lilliputs are around, it's not really worth it to buy and go through the trouble of using one of those IMO.. FS: Great MP3 Touch Screen 8.4" System

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT i HAVE ONE AND IT DISPLAYS IN 32BIT AND 800X600
IT DEPENDS ON THE CONTROLLER CARD AS EACH ONE MUST BE INSTALLED WITH THE RIGHT BIOS FOR THE LCD PANEL DO YOU THINK MAYBE THE PANEL OR CONTROLLER HAS CHANGED
