    Gyration mouse/keyboard interference?

Sorry if this a repost, but I couldn't find anything on it. My mouse and keyboard work fine in the house. When I take them to the car however, they will work fine for a while, then start working intermittently, then stop working all together. It seems like the receiver "forgets" the mouse and keyboard. While in the car, it won't "learn" them most of the time (every now and then it will after trying for 10-15 minutes) but in the house, everything works just fine. I'm not using a hub. I was wondering if anyone else had experianced this and if anyone had any suggestions.

my prob was the location of the antenna for my gyration. I use the mini kb gyration. In the house it has a range of around 25ft. in the car, about 2ft. This is what I did to get mine working.
    1. get the gyration working with the car OFF, not running.
    2. now get it working with the car ON, running.

From there you can move the gyration antenna around in the car, with the car running, since you got it working with the car off. You can find out where it will work and where it will not work.

I have been using the gyration kb (not the mouse cause i use the xenarc TS), for well over a year now with no problems.

Well, its not a problem of range, cause I've tried them within inches of each other. I Think I may get a USB extension and move the reciever to the front of the Jeep away from my amps and the W7 that I'm almost positive is causing the problem.

also check your services in XP. The HID Input Service needs to be on automatic. I have found that with that service turned off the gyration will not work.
