I've had another thought... picked up a load of UK Audio bouchers... ie Sony, Kenwood, Pioneer etc.

Any way - most of the biggys have a new function that can directly connect and control a IPOD... so one connection / one protacol - ie IPOD.

What about a gizzmo to replicate an IPOD ? Would cross more head units in one hit.

PS I can give you Euro model numbers if you want

Great idea. Shoot me some links please.
The biggest challenge would be to "emulate" ipod. But I saw some guys doing it already...

Kenwoods interface = KCA-iP500 - Works with all headunits 03 onwards

    Alpine inteface = KCA-420i - Works with any 2004/2005 Ai-NET head unit

Pioneer interace = CD-IB100 - Works with most IP-Bus enabled head units

Plus I think I remeber seeing that Volvo and GM where working on OEM factory installed options as well.

I still vote for the Kenwood though but thats just me lol

    Hope that helps

Not sure what you mean ? You can get RCA<->3.5 jack very cheap these days. Is it a problem ?

It looks like first option gets voices. Well, I'll start working on it and update you guys on progress.
As in a previous case I will rely on you to make a beta testing. How about that ?
