    cw-8123 mac drive compatible?

hey i've been looking at a cw-8123 slim dvd/cdrw drive that came from a mac. is it the same drive basically that would come out of an ibm pc? i am wondering if it will be the same kind of connection on the back to where i just have to get an slimline adapter to IDE... fill me in if anyone knows! thanks!

    Slot-load or tray-load?

If it's tray-load, you just need the standard slimline to ide adapter. However, if it is the slot-load type, you need the iMac adapter board.
