    Touareg in D.C.?

    Hey all...

Am working with Zip-Lock to develop an input device that ties into the CAN-BUS of a Touareg... Good chance we have a solution, but someone who has a touarge, or knows someone with a Touareg in the DC area is needed for a couple hours so some tests can be made...

    HELP!

If you know someone, PM myself or Zip_Lock (ZipLock?)

    Ryan

I've got one, but I'm nowhere near DC.
Might be a good idea to post this message on VW Vortex Touareg forum

I read your other post concerning CAN-bus and steering wheel buttons.
I have steering wheel buttons, Navi and Ross-Tech's HEX-USB cable, if you want me to test something with those, contact me.

In the VWVortex Touareg forum someone connected a USB CAN controller over a serial OBD connector to the Touareg's OBD port and managed to communicate with it (but basic things).

I guess you can do your tests on a Golf V, Touran or Transporter T5 as well, they use the same Navi.

Have you looked into renting one?
It might be worth the couple hundred to get a rental unit.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.
