is there a glowing display MCE rf remote? i have a firefly remote, buttons don't glow. also needs reprogramming for the buttons to act properly in MCE

it sounds to me like it'd be wiser to "wire yourself" for IR and use the official MCE remote (no screwing with reconfiguring buttons or anything, and you wouldnt' have to buy a new remote)... whether that means getting a USB reciever if you don't have one, or wiring up IRDA (if it's compatible with that), you'll have to figure out...

right but the MCE remote does not entirely glow. You can't see the numbers in the dark.
the numbers are needed because that's the only way to type letters. if you have a lot of music you need to type letters to get to what you want.
