Sorry for not keeping the timeline I promised. I just want this adapter to be as good as possible. Right now the design is complete and I'm still working on a PCB board design. It will be done next week. Then it will take about 1 month to get the beta testing samples.
So ETA is mid Feb. Once I got estimate from the factory I'll update everyone here.

I gotta Acura TL 04 as well
I been reading this thread and i don't think your adapter will be as simple for
the newer Honda's and Acuras like the 04+ TL, 04 Accord, 05 Passport, and the like, I think we will have to lose XM functionality to install this adapter. (which i don't mind all that much)

Right now the XM unit is basically the only other "option" for sound input you can have in the factory stereo since the cd-changer is in-dash.

If you can immitate the PC being the XM unit.. this would be so awesome. This will mean we can use the steering wheel controls and buttons on the radio itself to control the PC!! Would you add an option to have the PC send out track / music information in text to the stereo?? The XM receiver sends song title, channel , artist info to the stereo which is then displayed on either a character LCD (non-navi car) or directly on top of the navi unit display.( navi equipped cars). I am 100% sure that the XM receiver is the same for both.

Acura released their music link adapter for the iPod. It does something on the bus to enable CD-C, the external CD changer.

I think there should be a way to emulate CD changer anyway. Will look into it. Thanks.

I am going to need two, possibly three of these. Can you contact me when you get them in, or is there another place I need to sign up at?

I guess this adapter won't work for 2004+ Acura TL?
