Thanks for working on this. I've got an '06 Accord, which is basically the same as the '03-05 as far as the headunit is concerned. Ideally, I would be able to feed text from the carpc to the headunit. But even the ability to control the carpc with headunit buttons is awesome.

Ok im sorry i got a little confused on the website and this thread and am curious if the adapter will work with my car...

    its a 2003 Honda Accord Coupe EXL-V6?
i know that there is a soundgate aux adapter but i would prefer this alternative as the stock controls would be nice.

Just curious, what the confusion is and where ?
Your car will work with the new adapter. The old one would work with Accord 98-02.

The confusion begins with where to buy it. I was on your page and it doesnt list the 03 accord so i wasnt sure what "adapater" you were talking about or where it can be purchased.

    Hi,

    Couple a questions here

    - Will it work for a '04 Toyota Corolla (European model)? Probably yes, but I'm just making sure
    - Can I install it without voiding the warranty on my car ? (I don't even know where the connector is ... total newbie here).
    - Do you ship to Romania?

    Thank you,

    Bogdan

It will work with you car no prob. Not sure about warranty as you don't have to break anything. All you do is disconnect 1 cable and connect another one in place. If Romania is EU, then it should be no problem to ship there.

I'd hate to beat this to death, but I'm liking the concept but:
As stated in the first post the adapter is for OEM Toyota/Honda makes. Sorry
What's the chance there will eventually be a unit that will work with certain aftermarket hu.. I'd hate to have a toyota or honda HU in my isuzu...no offence of coarse
also, this there a possibility of the HU being controled by the computer?
[------|-] 95% computer... is it ever really done?

Understand your frustration. Pioneer adapter will be out in 2 weeks. Alpine AiNet will be next. So at least you have a choice
There is no way to control HU from the PC. They just not designed this way
