I am not sure the headset doesn't work right, or my BT dongle or what.

do you have luck to configure the headset as a microphone and using the PC speakers for audio and working consistenly?

Here's the end result, when user speaks the word "Hal", the following occurs:

Delay event begins set for 5 seconds
The Voice Commands group goes enabled
    Volume gets muted
OSD pops up that says "Listening..." 5 second timeout

If no command is said that matches Voice Commands, volume returns, OSD disappears, and Voice Commands goes back inactive.

    Attached is the GML...

510 - well, given that I'm on vacation in sunny LA i haven't had much time to play yet, but just from testing, I haven't had a problem yet. Setup's pretty simple. When you pair, just use the Headset profile. Then in your 'Sound and Audio Settings" in the control panel set the default playback to your sound card and your default sound recording to the Bluetooth device.
FYI - when you buy a bluetooth dongle, make sure it support v1.2. anything less does not support audio streaming.

Sonic - not fully tested yet, but here ya go....Merry Christmas

Just a general FYI...if anyone gets the Plantronics Voyager 510, instantly get the upgraded Widcomm drivers 5.0.1.801. I got a fairly generic Zoom USB adapter (which came with version 3) and was having intermitent failure on the headset. Now it's working sweet as pie. As soon as I get back from vacation, I'll be posting some video of this thing in action...

I hope you can educate me here. I have a hawking BT USB dongle, came with the widcomm driver version 1.4.2 build 10. I believe this is the latest driver hawking offers. Can I use other brand of BT USB dongle driver?
I am wondering where you got your version 5.0.1.801 driver.

oh, you can find it in the normal places.

I got it from the following :

Widcomm basically is a 'catch all' for usb bluetooth devices. I have yet to run across one it does not support.

Happy to help, but we've covered a few topics in this posting. To which were you referring?
