might be nice to try to integrate into a custom armrest or something...a little fiber glass.....hardwire the power in......just a nice little trackball...
In my quest to build my carputer, I wanted to have a bluetooth keyboard and a bluetooth mouse. I found a very nice very small bluetooth keyboard, and it was very easy to find a bluetooth mouse.
I got to thinking, though, and now I think a trackball would be a better solution than a mouse. I'm still undecided on that, but I did search the web for a bluetooth trackball. Suprisingly, there is only one that I found:

From the review, it looks very nice. Still not sure I am going to go with that, but figured I'd let others know that one does exist.

I would just go with the RF version myself http://www2.inpace.com/wklongrf.html
EDIT, but I just read you were looking for a seperate mouse and keyboard, so never mind.

Will the RF 2.4 ghz get in the way of a wifi connection?
