BMW owners...i need IBUS HELP

hey guys...i was wondering if anyone is using a lcd that is not indash and therefore they still have there stock cd players...i was wondering because i use an aux adaptor in my trunk that connects to the cd changer cords and has a n ibus cord that goes into it..allowing me to hit the cd button on my cd player showing 6-01 which is my aux adaptor. I was wondering if there is a way to use this i bus controller and aux adaptor at the same time so i can switch my music up and down......there is another i bus cord in the trunk i believe..its next to the car phone cables which are wrapped in a piece of felt in the trunk..there is also an i bus cord...could i use this cord then?...please let me know

I don't understand - you want to listen to your pc via the aux adapter in the trunk, and also use ibus to make steering wheel buttons to change tracks? You can do this as long as you don't have a cd changer. The aux adapter (to my knowledge) has nothing to do with the ibus, so if you've already got the sound coming from your laptop going through the aux adapter for your hu, you can just buy one of the ibus controller boards and hook it up no problem.

alright but the only thing is my aux adaptor plugs into the ibus controller....can i just unplug that then?...i thought if i did it would not show up on my headunit

The audio part of the aux adapter should'nt be running through the ibus plug - it should have some other plug for that. The ibus plug should be for control only - sending/receiving commands like next track, etc. However, I don't have/use an aux adapter so I'll defer to someone else who knows more than I do.

I am using aux function of car2pc without the usb ibus adaptor
Sound works fine but i have another ibus adaptor ( www.reslers.de ) installed in my trunk where my cd-changer used to be. Does car2pc cut ibus signals for cdchanger socket? My ibus doesn't work.
I have ibuscomm in start-up with edited .ini file but it doesn't send/receive any signal thru ibus. what do you guys think.

IBus is an open bus. You cannot cut anyone's signals. So I would recommend checking connections first...

There is nothing to check
one time ibus one time 12v one time gnd and one time usb

any helpful suggestion?

ok so i i tried installing the ibus today and i discconected the ibus from my aux adaptor..and as soon as i do that my cd player reads disabeled...wont play any music or anything from my comp..so i am assuming i cannot use this aux adaptor..anyone know??
