wacom tablet touchscreen on winxp pro? HELP

O.K., I searched all morning & am pretty much getting no where with this..... I have a gateway tablet, m275.... but I do not have a good tablet edition operating system disc or a good tablet edition install key..... as far as I know I can't even buy this.... gateway can't help because I bought this bare bones & there is no serial# on the machine....

....SO... I installed xp pro.... but now thew problem of trying to get the touchscreen to work.... gateway provides no calibration or utility for the touchscreen because this is normally an intergral part of tablet edition, but with xp how can I utilize this touchscreen?

I do have a tablet edition instal disc, that has the components in it I think, but have no idea what to do with that..... or if it's even practical to try & extract anything from that even..... I can't find anything for this.... any help would be greatly appreciated

tj, I saw that early in my searching, but on the download page:

This driver should only be installed on Penabled Tablet PCs that run the Tablet PC OS (MS Windows XP Tablet PC Edition).

so no good there.... greenman, PM comming your way

says it will also work with XP running the TabletPC SDK (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en)

but greenman's solution is the better way to go =)

hmm, I didn't know if that would work, I'll give it a try, thanks

but I think that's just an enhancement.... I wonder if the ms sdk gives the basic functionality.... if it does that's cool... gonna try...
