I pieced together a system earlier today. Besides a networking problem earlier all is going good.
However, the bottom of my touchscreen does not want to work right. I've done the 4-pt, 9-pt, and the 20-pt calibration and it always turns out the same. Look at the attached picture. That yellow line is what happens when I draw along the edge of the screen. Definitly not the way its supposed to be. It really sucks when I need to click on the taskbar to bring up or minimize a window. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is my screen damaged?
I'm using the 2006 beta drivers from egalax.com but I've just downloaded the older 2005 drivers and am about to give those a shot. I just wanted to get this thing posted in case any one had some other suggestions.
EDIT: Oh yeah. To calibrate I tried using my finger, the backside of a pen, and the point of the pen to ensure I was hitting right in the center of each X.
EDIT2: Okay. Now I can't get the beta drivers off my system and the stable drivers installed. Looks like I'm going to have to format the system. What fun!
