freedom mini keyboard USB

Well, My keyboard must be re-paired every time I restart the machine, the keyboard goes to sleep or I turn it off. Why will the keyboard not Re-connect.

Im using the linksys Bluetooth Dongle and Widcomm 5.0.1.1400 Drivers. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Mine does the same thing I cant figure it out

I've submitted a support ticket on Freedom's support site, If you could do the same perhaps we will get an answer to the problem.

If anyone else with this keyboard could chime in as well I'd appreciate the help.

This could be the best keyboard for the car (IMO) If we can fix this... If not Im selling all my bluetooth stuff and getting an IKEY!

Oh I have one of those already but I got the freedom bc it was wireless and backlit to bad it wont work

The USBBT100 does not have an auto-connect feature that lets you automatically connect to a defined Bluetooth device in range. The reason is the for security purposes, the paired device will need to input the key for it to connect properly thus preventing other unauthorized users from accessing any protected or shared content as well as gain control of remote devices the USBBT100 is attached.

If I pair a device, It should connect whenever in range. Grrrr

Is this thing really the size of a US credit card (I.E. 2-1/8" x 3-3/8")? If not, what are the dimensions? And does Windows XP need any special drivers? What color is & how bright is the backlight? Pictures please?!!! This might be just what I'm looking for.
