Had a search about cant find the problem I am having.
My lillyput touchscreen has been working great for a year but now it seems to un calabrate itself now and again.
I can do the 25 point calibration point set up fine and it will be fine when I go back to using it.
BUT when I have shut down the pc and restarted it sometimes it will be fine and other times it will be all over the place again.
BUT also I can be using it when its fine, it will start going off all over the place then it will start to work fine again.
Doing a 25 point calibration is fine so to me the touchscreen is ok (But dont know for 100% as its all new to me).
Any ideas?????????????????????????

mine seems to be heat related, as it warms up touchscreen goes nuts...
i think im just gonna buy a new screen.
Theres alot of details on this in the LCD section, you can try updated drivers etc, also check nothing aroudn the facisa of the screen is pressing on the touchscreen...
My problem was the Lilliputs screw connector. The four(or some of them) wires going to the TS controller on PCB were somehow disconnected. Sometimes ts worked like charm, sometimes it didn't work at all. Later on, after calibration it would work until next boot. I'd hear the Windows USB device connected/disconnected sound sometimes. I replaced the wire with direct usb cable to the TS controller PCB and the touchscreen has worked perfectly ever since.
Yea looks like I am going to pull the display out the dash and check everything over to make sure all wires are ok and the 4 screws that hold the LCD in are not too tight.
Thanks for the pointers
Update.
All looks fine (All connected etc)
I had it working off and on today. When it wasant working 100% if I touched the screen and didnt take my finger off the cursor started to move down the screen
Looks like the connector on the side of the screen has dry joints so going to have a look at that soon
I have the same problem. The first time it came about I didn't realize I could just recalibrate it so basically I drove without the GPS, got lost, got heldup at gun point. Fun times. Since then I've hooked up a joystick to thwart that problem. But the touchscreen does still go out periodically. Most recently it worked for months, went out about a week ago and then again today. Look forward to a solution.
