lilliput not recognized via usb. I HAVE SEARCHED FOR HELP FOR HOURS!

When I plug in the usb to my computer, nothing happens. I have tried on 4 different computers with the same results. I have wiggled, squeezed, check and double checked all of connections but nothing will make windows see that a usb device is plugged in. I have a brand new lilliput 8".

ANY type of help would be GREATLY appreciated.

send it back and get another one it sounds like its broken. Windows wont recognise it as a touchscreen but it should still know something is pluged in

could be a problem going through the USB hub.

,..... but i really think it is the case too. I was unsure because I notice that quite a bit of people seem to have problems with them and was hoping that this had happened to someone else and they were able to fix it.

slightlystoopi - there is no usb hub, it was plugged directly into the motherboard on each attempt.

I posted elsewhere but I have the same problem that appeared out of nowhere. I have an old (9 pin connector) lilliput that works (worked!) perfectly. I built a new carputer and put in in the car and had it in front of the passenger seat for two days. Other than occational GPS mouse jumping or its com port getting mixed up I had no issues. So I got everything to work and then unplugged everything, moved the carputer under the seat and reconnected it. Now the touch screen does not get recognized by the carputer no matter what I do. Everything else works and screen itself is flawless but no touch screen. I have uninstalled and re installed the drivers several times and no go. What could I have done to cause this? The device manager says the touch sceen controller is working fine. So what else could it be?

By the way, I installed Xport3 recently. Could that cause a problem? It worked fine with it before though.....
