Question weather information on LCD via RCA?

I was wondering if there was anything in existance that could display weather information on say a tv screan via the composite or RCA inputs on the TV. I know its a bit far fetched but i was hoping to have some kind of setup in my car doing that. I dont want to get a whole separate weather system thing next to all my other gear that i plan on installing...

Well if you are putting in a computer, then yes. The computer...
Just attach it to the web and pull down the local data.

well the plan was for me to have a two display setup, one for my computer related things (music, movies, gps, etc.), and the other for car and other data. The second display has only a RCA input (its only a 5" screen with no casing or anything, just the bare screen). See where im going at?

Also sorry if i double posted... my internet connection has been going haywire lately :S

Well that's easy then. Depending on your mobo that is. If you have a mobo with both a VGA and also a RCA or Svideo, then make the extended desktop onto that. Then you can have two independant screens. Since the other one is for data, you won't need to move the mouse over there, so no problemo.

If you want something seperate from the PC, then well. I've got to think about that.

Well I don't know about car data, but I got it for weather!

Have a 3 screen display, and use this: http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...entPage=family

It updates the weather for free every 15-30 minutes, and is dc powered already so no messy inverter.
maybe hack the display and run it through a serial port to display the info on the pc too.

You could get a TV tuner and one of those mobile satellite dishes, then have the video signal going to your second monitor. Keep it tuned to The Weather Channel, and you're all set!

    [EDIT]
My girlfriend thinks you should just hire a weatherman and give him his own computer that's hooked up to the screen, so he could update the local forecast for you.
As a bonus, you'll always be able to use the carpool lane!
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Well if you got the new Nissan Terranaut, then the weatherman can sit in the back.
