    map keys based on device?

    please dont say girder, please!

Does anyone know of any keymapping software that will allow me to map keys on a device specific level. I want to map all the keys on this usb numpad i have, but i dont want to remap the number keys on the full keyboard.
I also want to do this on my desktop.

    thanks

Try this liquid. http://www.linuxtoys.org/keypad/keypad.html I have one just like the picture. I might use it for my system. Currently im not using my serial port for anything. If you know how to program in C im sure you could write something simple enough.

unfortunately i cant code a lick, and i dont think my carputer or laptop has a serial port.

I dont want to use girder (wondering how anyone uses it to be honest) but i may give it a final shot only if i know for a fact going in if it can indeed do exactly what im asking?
