What part of the t/s is needed?

This is what the navigation touchscreen looks like. If I wanted to remove the screen what part would I have to take out? Is there some type of ribbon cable extension. Might need but not sure. Depends on what part of this screen is needed.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

nevermind I already broke it down and got the screen by itself. Now my only problem is where can I find a 24 pin flat ribbon cable. I have looked everywhere on the net and different stores around here. 18" long should be long enough.
