The Pioneer K05 has both a faceplate (albeit a tiny one) and an eject button. I don't know where you're getting your info about most slot-load drives not having eject buttons, but all of the ones I've seen have been equipped with one.

I have the K06, and it has a faceplate and an eject button, and a hole for a paperclip.

I've never seen a slot load not have an eject button, except for the ****ty macs.
