Hi everybody.

Primary check out, if the tool detects correctly the Powermate.
The Powermate-Commandos have to be displayed in the textbox. If this works correct, you can try change the "KeyTBL.ini" and see, how it works with Roadrunner. But there are still some bugs.... beta
Here a small manual:
If you work wirh roadrunner, the tool has 2 modes.
First mode (Audio-mode):
Left=Vol-
Right=Vol+
Click=Play/Pause
Down & Left=Prev Song
Down & Right=Next Song
Second mode (Menu-mode):
Left=Curser left
Right=Curser Right
Click=Enter
Down & Left=Prev Song
Down & Right=Next Song
DBLClick=Select the Element ...... i.e. the Element is a Slider, then the "left/right" is changed to "up/down" (adjust the Slider)... Next DBLClick deselects the Element ("left/right is "left/right")
To change the Mode, make a long click (600ms)
Default mode is "Audio mode". If you have changed to "Menu-Mode", a timer is started, which goes back after 10 sec. to "Audio mode", if you do "nothing"
Short results: I tested it out and it works
Long results: I just got my powermate yesterday and I've been playing around with using the manufacturer's software and with girder + plugin. The girder method requires that you have the Powermate driver installed but not run the powermate application (for obvious reason). So, this is what I had when I downloaded your app (driver installed but not running either of the other applications). I ran runme.bat and it was successful as registering the ocx. Then I ran powermate.exe and I get a dialog box titled HIDInterface with the message "Nothing found" followed by another dialog box titled Powermate interface with the same message. Then the little window with a text box comes up that correctly displays the controller's state. So I replaced my default keytbl.ini with yours and fire up RR (which is using LSX Void). Works great. Only issues I noticed are: 1) that LSX's volume display bar does not reflect the change to the volume but I imagine I just need to edit keytbl for lsx and 2) that the program does not want to close (hit close on the little window, then hit the powermate and it will exit with an error).
A couple questions:
I really want to use two powermates and from what I've read this isn't possible (though I think I read that it may be possible with girder and the plugin). Do you plan to support two powermates? That would be great! Also, any plans to open source this?
Thx for testing...
I think, the volume bar doesn't display the master volume, but the tool changes only the master volume. Later this can be adjusted by the Powermate-tool, but for now you can change this by roadrunner.
Closing the tool is a littlebit buggy for the moment. I try to fix this for the next update.
2 Powermates should be possible, but I have only one. So I cannot programm this feature, but I upload the code also by the next update. So maybe anyone else can make the support for 2 devices.
Sounds great, I'll test whatever you post.
As far as two powermates, when I was searching to see if two were possible, I came across a number of threads that said it wasn't but then others where people were saying that they were putting in two (maybe it was a plan that they had not fully researched). If it seems possible, I could pick up another one and possibly contribute some code.
In between coats on my lcd bezelI checked the keycode thing. I changed one of the commands for an existing keycode (in keytbl.ini) that you've got you're app send to VOL+ and another to VOL- and it works like a charm changing the volume through rr and so the volume bar shows the change.
BTW, are you using microsoft's DDK for this?
Here the new version:

I've fixed some bugs and make the tool more adjustable. Also click-sound is now supported and closing the tool should work correctly.
