that camera was 2 something... don't remember exactly.... closer to 300 really I think...

it's actually a heated camera, & it was originally equipted with nightvision infrareds which I don't use, but because it was a nightvision camera, it switches to b&w on low light, which gives such low lux ratings even before infrared assist...

I can see much better at night with the camera than I can see with my eyes even.... it was a bit overkill, but I wanted to do it once & forget about it....

the biggest problem was that all really high end cameras don't do the mirror flip, & back then, there weren't even any decent mirror image cams, I use a alpine monitor in place of my rearview mirror, & that monitor does the mirror flip for me... this may not be a good solution for a rear camera unless you can provide the flip through software or your monitor itself....

I'm going to upgrade to 4 cameras & constant running dvr software, & when I do, this one will get moved to the top of the windshield for front duties really, now adays there are better mirror cameras out there... I'm going to need 3 of them though

Yah I dont think wireless is the way to go on a car. But the mount looks nice. Did it go together easy? Maybe I will design my own wired version and sell it. How hard could a license camera mount be to build.

Can you post some pics of it mounted?

Looks like the same thing I posted. Only wired. Which is probably better for video quality. Plus i like the infrared leds.
