Thread: touchscreen randomly stops working/starts right clicking

I had this problem before too. My Lilliput touchscreen would work fine most of the time, then would revert to doing the "right click" thing you mentioned. I messed with everything trying to figure it out... It ended up being my wireless USB keyboard somehow making my touchscreen revert to "right clicks". I unhooked the keyboard from my computer and the touchscreen has worked correctly ever since.

Don't know if you have a keyboard or anything hooked up, but it's something you may want to check...

I do have one of those tiny PS2 keyboard/thumbboards hooked up, but the touchscreen stops working even with the keyboard disconnected

i had this issue when i was using a serial gps reciever.. It would detect it as a mouse, and start clicking everywhere..so i had to disable the "mouse" it created from device manager. then everything worked all good..

I do have a serial gps receiver (br355), but it doesnt seem to be clicking everywhere. I'll have to check if I have a 'mouse' from that tomorrow

I checked today, and there's no mouse there that shouldn't be. Theres just the USB touchscreen mouse, and HID-compliant mouse that I hacked apart to make a control knob

Maybe its the mouse that you hacked apart? Try seeing if everything works with that disconnected.
