sell the pyle and buy a kenwood screen. i have the same navi unit and i bought the remote for it. i dunno why u had to use the pinouts for the video because the 4100 has video output to work with any screen. you just need the remote to control it.
I don't know if this is even possible (but I'm sure there has to be a way to make it work), I am trying to get a PYLE in dash touchscreen to interface with a Kenwood DV4100 without using the optional remote control. The PYLE deck is a pltnv66 and I am using the 13 pin I/F. After several hours of rewiring the I/F cable to get the DV4100 to show video (NOW WORKING!), I still can't get the touchscreen function to kick on. Does anyone have an idea of how to get this to work? I have the Kenwook schematics and the pinouts for the PYLE deck as well, and I think I have it all set up right, but no bueno. Any help would be great
thanks'

i got dat ***** sittin on 22s! SUPERMAN EDITION!
I was able to get the 4100 to work with the remote and using the 13 pin din, thats not the issue. I am trying to get the touchscreen to work with the dv4100 and NOT have to use the remote. To sell the pyle and buy a kenwood would be the easy way out! I want to try to solve the puzzle here since I'm about 90% done
They probably use different control methods. It's like trying to use a joystick with a television, you're probably better off doing something else.
Well, I figured it was worth a try. Does anyone know for sure if the kenwood Nav systems with touchscreen interface work with any non kenwood screens?
