The 3 series has a different knob. It's $32.00. Part number:

6 series has the same knob as the 5.
So it looks like those won't work anyway since they don't fit on the standard shaft. A bit $$$ anyway.
i'm guessing we have a bmw parts guy on our hands?
Right, it needs to have a .250" D shaft I ordered a couple of these to test with:

We can put you in touch with Immersion who can provide the development software, it includes examples.
We have everything in stock except a knob and a USB cable. It has a standard mini USB port on it so any standard cable would work. If you don't care about either of those we can ship right now, just let us know.Quote:
Is it still in preorders? On the webshop it says "in stock".
Some other vintage/not so vintage knobs (with stupid set screw):

I was also trying to find dimmer knobs that might work but I am not having any luck.
Here's a batch of 50 that are nice and plain with no set screws
