i see few people have these here, are they good?? would they be easy to mount upright on the dash??

thinking could use it for volume control and for skipping through tracks!

last i heard there was a problem with the drivers and resuming from hibernate.

I dont know from personal expierience..but a while back there were quite of few complaints.

Dont know if they fixed this with a new driver release or not.

search the forum for xport3. Solves the stupid hibernating issue. I've had mine for a couple months now and it works fine.

I also have one and can confirm it works fine. I never installed the included software or hibernate so I don't have either of those problems. I use girder with the powermate plugin and it works like a charm. I use it for volume, changing tracks, mute and switching to gps. I haven't found a great way to install it yet. I have been using mounting tape but it's not really doing the trick.

I gave up on mounting tape because of the surface under the powermate, it just let it sit in my car as in the pictures to my finished worklog thread and it stays put even on fast turns.

Yah, due to the glow of the powermate it's hard to get things to stick to it. If you're going to stick it to your dash you'll need to find another mounting solution. If you come up with one, please share.
