keyboard volume control

i have an old keyboard that has a rotary volume control in it....i have disassembled it and tested it with my windows xp pro machine and works just fine....i am using experience server 2k3 on my carputer and the keyboard volume control doesn't work with it....any ideas on why it wouldn't work?

sounds like a driver problem. I think some keyboards with quick link buttons and volume controls on it may need an additional driver.

...interesting.....i just did a reinstall of server 2k3 with the keyboard volume controller plugged in and now it works!!! IDK what happened but it works!!! seems like it was some type of a driver issue
