Why does I-Bus send signal two times?

    Hi @all,

I need some help with the I-Bus stuff. I have installed the USB I-Bus Adapter from www.reslers.de. For reading the singnals I am using the software IBusComm. I also see the signals within IBusComm, but when I press a button one time IBusComm receives the signal two times.

For example: I want to use the steering wheel buttons (BMW E46) to control the volume and next-and-prev functions of the Front End Frodoplayer. Because Frodoplayer doesn't understand the I-Bus signals I am using IBusComm to map the signals to some keys on the keyboard. Now the issue:
When I press the "+" Button on the steering wheel IBusComm receives the signal two times, what makes the volume up two times, too.

How can I cut off the second input of the signal? Are there any serial settings I have to set for my I-Bus Adapter? Under "Windows - Device Manager - USB To Serial" (which is my USB- IBus adapter) I have seen some settings I can use, but I don't no which one are right?

Thanks for any help and answers in advance!!!

    Moved to Input Devices.
You should get a more timely response there.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.
