    XMBC for iOS 4

XMBC was released today for all iOS devices. You simply add the source to Cydia and install it. You have to be jailbroken though.

I think this would be good as a front end. Now we just need XM reciever control...

I wonder if you can install and run off an iPad and use the xbmc remote on an iPhone to control the iPad...

Wow! That looks like it is well worth investigating!

If they would just get the untethered jailbreak out there, I'd be good to go. I had to reboot the other day in the car and couldn't without tethering, so I reverted to non-jailbreak until they get untethered out there.

I haven't seen any videos with it running, but I'm about to install it on my iPad. I'll try to capture some video off my iPad onto my PC and upload it.

Can't get it to show my library. If you still want me to post a video, I will.

I installed this, but haven't put it really to work yet. Very smooth. It's also too dark to use in the car. It immediately saw my PS3 IIRC and certainly my Media Center (shared windows library and/or ORB), so I think it connects easily to the net, but didn't know at the time what folder to navigate to the music/videos and if it would play right, I can't see why not.
