i have a dension ipod kit. it plays and powers the old ipod touch fine, i recently purchased the iphone 3gs,
how ever it wont charge the iphone because of the voltage change apple done to new units. i can get and adapter but tbh it will look ****e.

i have an idea to put a 12v to 5v converter from a tom tom charger cable on the power cable will this work????

the unit is powered of my head unit atm?
