    Question can i use a Sony VAIO VGN-N11H/W Laptop as a car pc

    hi all i now it been along time but i am back.

    i just would like to now would my Sony VAIO VGN-N11H/W Laptop

    Intel Core Duo T2250 Processor 1.73GHz
    1GB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive
    DVD ReWriter MultiDrive
    15.4" Widescreen X-Black LCD Display
    Microsoft Windows Media Center

    work nice as a in car pc it wil be powed with a Car Cigarette Lighter and maybe with a small tft screen up front if you could let me now people that would be great thanks alot

    Sure, you can use that laptop.
    You can use just about ny PC as a vehicle computer.
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

    well depending on the power requirements it may be conceivable to use the cigarette lighter. My own notebook requires only a 5A max current draw with a total of 90W.
    The better question is will function follow form, or will form be following function if there is any form when attempting this install. In other words, do you have any plans on making it look decent or are you doing it just to get it in there to use.
