Its that they made everyone like plastic looking airheads. Like some bimbo u see in Beverly hills getting p!$$ed because her stiletto got a scratch on it. It was just so bad. Now I actually liked the car. I just so hated the driver. He was like a stupid plastic jock that got hit in the head to much. The show was just way to teenie boppy...... $h!+ have me direct it..... Mike Knight would have been hard core, cutting arms and legs off. Instead of killing the old man that wasn't that bad, I would have killed the daughter and have him go psycho and show no mercy. Also no way in h3LL would I have given KIT the ability to turn into a convertible with pink stripes. I mean you might as well have made Mike gay (no disrespect to gay people). Every time I watched, I wondered when he was going to pull out his purse and hit the bad guys.

overpriced - but seems fairly standard for all the all-in-one resellers...in order to make a profit reselling and still not loose in covering support costs, that is an understandable price point.
4. Motherboard: Intel(intel855)Chipsets, Power Consumption<10W
5. RAM: DDR (266MHz) 256M (up to 1 GB optional)
6. CPU: PM1.1GHz (Max: 1.6GHz, FSB400MHz)
7. Hard Disk: 80G
Bottom line is - if you can make it yourself, and support it, it is almost always going to be cheaper.

That right there is a pretty nice system for what 300-350$ low powered cpu, 4gb of ram with some very nice timing (its fast) for a car pc, a great 500gb hd (the same one I use) and a MoBo that will let you upgade to 8GB in the future, and with a higher output psu a chance for a wonderful gfx card.
the 4770 just came out, very nice cheap card, will run everything you throw at it

The thing with building a carpc is that most of the work isn't in the PC building its in the install. I didn't spend much on the computer part but maybe that is just me....

thats just it.... its about the install.... its about taking some automotive designers left over open spaces and figuring out how to cram a piece of equipment that most people cant beleive could fit, making it look good and functional and showing the world that computers arent just for sitting on or under desks filtering out the dust in the air and browsing the innerweb
