it says error 404 Not found when i go to that site
it works here... hmm... pm me with an e-mail and i will mail the jpg to you
k got it working but looking at it something doesn't seem right. it looks like there's 3 separate circuits here that aren't connected. one with the ground and +12 v, one with the USB ground and the other that connects to the power switch. are you sure this is a true schematic? has anyone been able to build the module off of this? Im not the best at reading schematics, but i have done it before (i'm a bio med engineer) and this doesnt make much sense to me.
i will try to draw on top of it to make it more clear and then upload it
i just saw what might confuse.... read next post
thank you, i appreciate your help!
there is one black line at the button on top of the small pictures, if you look close the line is not connected to the chematic, so ignore that line....
+12 V goes to one side of the coil in the relay, when you get the relay there almost all the times are a small drawing on the side that explains what pin the coil is at
the 12 V ground goes to capacitor and then from the capacitor to te other side of the of the relay coil... the resistor is in paralell with the capacitor
this relay must be for 12V
it's the same with the usb, only that the relay is rated at 5V and there is no capacitor and resistor
then there are the contacts in the 12V relay, the "arm" is connected to the button in the laptop... the contact is connected to the "arm" in the 5V relay... the contact in the 5V relay is connected to the other side of the button in the laptop
the sw1 switch is just in paralell with the button in the laptop
hope you understand my poor english
btw.. on relays there are normal 5 pins... but in this module only 4 are used
when you get the bits everything should come quite clear... just get relays that has drawing on the side and pinnumbers at the pins....
ok got it. thanks again!
