Power Netbook on with screen closed????

Anyone have any tips on how to power the netbook on with the screen closed? I can hack the switch and get access to it to press it, when the screen is down, but it will not turn on unless it's up...

I looked for some kind of switch or something around the screen that will cause this, but can't find it.

Netbook is: Gateway NAV50 or LT2104u

I've got everything setup except this part. It's running Windows 7 by the way.

    Thanks

Found the magnet that was preventing it from powering on... removed it. All is well.
