Question Asus Eee PC T101MT-EU17-BK 10.1-Inch Convertible Tablet anyone?

Any one has experience with this:
I like the long battery life and 3 USB ports (for OBD-USB and GPS and still one spare) but not sure if the hard drive can survive vibrations/shocks in the car.
    Please comment. Thanks!

Yeah - will you buy the new units or the more expensive refurbished unit?
(That was intended as a LOL!, though sometimes refurbished are better than new....)

And not a specific comment on this particular unit, but ASUS are well known for their quality and good support - they shat on others.
Having said that - and after intending to buy an ASUS laptop for years for myself, I've recently bought MSI (for two friends). Their larger tablet screens seem pretty good (~900 & 17" and larger).
But I think ASUS still has the longer battery reserves (not that it's very significant).

As to HDD survival, it shouldn't be any worse than what others find with HDDs.
But that's a mounting, environmental, and drive-style issue (IMO).
