Check int he BIOS setup. If there's any setting that will allow the TV-out as the primary display upon bootup, that's where it would be.
Be prepared for a disappointment in the image quality, though.
Hi! I have a sony vaio laptop with a broken screen that I will be using for my car PC. I'm going to use a basic 7" LCD with RCA inputs for the screen, and I'll be using the TV-Out port on my laptop to hook it up. I'll be storing the laptop under my seat, so my question is, is there an way I can have it run in TV-Out mode every time I start the computer? Is there any software I could run that would do this?
Thanks!

Thanks, I'll try that. This composite screen is temporary until I get one with VGA inputs. If I don't have something like that in BIOS, do you think there's some software that could do it?
