I've not seen anything for sale like that, but using some creativity you could probably make one.
After researching carputers for months, I finally figure out UMPC will be my ultimate solution. It is easy to setup, less wiring and no power issues. However, I'm supprised to see most UMPCs do not have a car mount. I'm going to buy a TabletKiosk eo UMPC i7210. It only has some VESA kind of mounting plate. Does anyone know if there is an alternative way to mount a small UMPC on windshield or vent?
I've not seen anything for sale like that, but using some creativity you could probably make one.
The Samsung Q1 has a dedicated car mount available and there is talk of one for the tablet kiosk eo v7110.
I'm getting the 7210 too next week but as far as I know, there is no car mount for it. You might be able to find a vesa mount that works though. I'll keep you in mind when i'm looking at accesories.
Watch out for the 7210 reviews on Carrypad.com in the next weeks.

I'm doing some more research into using a UMPC as a car computer now.
I should be getting an i7210 next week and will be looking at the following things.
1) Which Navigation software to use (in Europe)
Ideall I would like something that can get live traffic updates via a cellular data connection (via my mobile phone) with weather too.
2) Mounting. How the hell am I going to mount this think in a Car. At the moment i'm looking for a generic window mount that might work.
3) What front-end to use for MP3's (might use the built-in Windows Media Skin which is supposed ot be OK.)
Other thoughts are: Can I use it to control the mobile phone. Quick-release needed for pasing it to the passenger. Voice control (needs a decent mic. Not sure that the i7210 mic will be good enough. Gesture control.
I'll try and keep some updates going in this thread and on my journal.
Regards
Steve.
