I looked at my PC again and the "list all" is there under the adapter tab. This works great! Everything looks so much better now.

Just for the heck of it I also updated the monitor driver to a generic 1024x768 LCD. Don't know if that did anything besides limit the slider bar to 1024x768 though.

Also the monitor type in the BIOS stays LCD and type 08 now.

Here is a quick tip. Windows users can use winflash to upgrade the bios from within windows. No need to use a boot cd. This is how I upgraded mine.

serious? I've been spending the whole week trying to boot from usb cd and usb flash drive.. the cd crapped out on me, and the usb doesn't work. argh!

So when you use winflash, do you still need the awdflash alpication, or just j7F2***.bin file?

All you need is winflash and the bin file. You also have to go into the bios and set it so you can write to it. It would be the last option under misc control in the bios.

When you run winflash it will ask you to save the current bios then you can flash you bios with the new bin. Just read the help file if you need help using it but it should be easy enough to use you wont need it.

    awesome

I actually did it last night just as you described. Worked like a charm!
Only thing was that I had to rescale and adjust my RR skin to work with the new res, but all is good. After all this time we can finally write this 800x480 issue off as SOLVED! woohoo!

    new resolutions

I just received a question from jetway...

There is probably an opportunity to have some other resolutions added into the BIOS.

Are there any other resolutions that they should implement for you??

I'm still after the beta bios if someone can make it available.

    Cheers.

I am using a Dynamic 816. its funny because it goes to 800x480 but the right hand side is cut off like about half and inch or so. try to shrink the monitor so it fit but my monitor does not have a function to adjust the shrinking. i look good at 800x480 fonts and everything is big but man it suck that it dont look right.
