A couple of the companies I have dealt with from other countries do use yahoo and gmail. They also might have to reprogram a ROM or change the physical hardware which requires shipping it back.
I have been trying to find out how to access the factory mode menu so that I can set this unit to auto power on but have been totally frustrated by it so I wrote to the manufacturer. At first I thought the response I got was a joke because the email address was from yahoo.com so I replied with a simple, nice try, but then he wrote back again with this:
Dear sirs,
Thanks for your reply ASAP.We just saw your e-mail.Please,we can not supply the method about how to amend factory mode with you so that you come true power on automatically. If you accept it and we advise that you can send it back to adjust. About yahoo com. this is my work e-mail .It is very sorry to say that .Thanks!
We are looking forwards to your reply
Best Regards!
Have a good day!
The from address was #####@yahoo.com.cn. I find it hard to believe that a company rep would be using yahoo for email and I find it unbelievable that they would want me to send it all the way back to China to set it instead of just telling me how to do it...is it that top secret that this vital piece of information is hidden from the world? LOL! Cripe, I'm not asking them for the specs of a nuke warhead!

Hmmmm, ok. I just thought it was really cheap looking to use free email.
I find it hard to believe that they want me to send it all the way back to China from New York. Cripe, the shopping would be ridiculous plus I would have to fill out all those damn forms. I assume it was a software setting simply from the wording "amend factory mode". You mean there isn't a US Lilliput rep anywhere that can do this?
