    backlight invertor info

Is a backlight invertor just a standard deal?
Or would I need one specifically for my panel/controller?

    Cheers

If your controller came with your panel, you probably got the inverter too... How about sharing the brand/model/where you got it?

The screen is a 8.4" dennisk model, from dennis.

The controller is the datalux m1023 rev F, found it on ebay quite a while ago and am only now getting around to this project.

No cabling or invertor as yet.

the inverter is dependent on the backlight. the backlight is dependent on the screen model.

if you do a search for the screen model number + backlight. you should get an answer from google (etc)

lq9d161 is the dennisK screen model number, if you didnt know.

here is a thread about the inverter you need

Any ideas on where to buy them? I saw the info on the backlight inverter but how much would one run and where can we pick it up?

You're in the US aren't you? Not sure about that, but I think I have a UK supplier lined up, if anyone's interested.
