This is driving me NUTS

Ok when im using my touch screen, from my time to time, the mouse pointer will go all the way to the very bottom. Basically, instead of me having X-Y coordinate accessibility, i only get X-coordinate when i swipe my finger from left to right in streetdeck. Its like my mouse is stuck at the very bottom of the screen. Before it goes into this mode, it does a poor job of reading my finger on the screen. Instead of a straight line, itll do 1/4 straight and the rest as the diagonal line going downwards. I have a k90/k301 touchscreen. I am 99% sure that the problem lies with the screen and not with the drivers or anything.

Can someone please tell me how i fix this.
