Lightbulb Interlaced VGA Output?? How?? Help

    Hi all,

Im trying to get an interlaced output from a standard VGA out on my intel 810e chipset. (My screen specs are NTSC 640x480 interlaced) I've already tried many avenues with a program called PowerStrip, but to no avail as p-strip does not support interlacing with the 810e.

Looking at techo documents for the chipset im pretty sure it can be done. Im just not experienced enough to know how....anyone got any ideas/suggestions??

    Cheers

Probably would help to know what operating system. If powerstrip cannot do it, then you need to find drivers for your chipset that support it. More than likely it's not going to be supported on the windows platform. Linux may be able to do it. I know I had a card in windows that could not do 480i that was required for a psOne screen, but it worked decently with linux.

Sorry yeah im using windows at the moment. i have heard linux may be the go, but ive got no experience with it, so it could get messy. I might just go all out and buy a better PC for my car.... or find a 'magic box' that converts non interlaced singals to interlaced
