Something kinda intresting, I didnt install the USB touchscreen drivers, and still using the old lillput drivers. It works!!
Sorry I dont have a MAC mini, but i think if lillput works, it works.
Screw it. I went ahead and ordered two.
Can anyone with the 8" unit please provide the dimensions with and w/o the housing???
Since it seems to be too much damn trouble for everybody else, I'll get the measurements as soon as they arrive. I ordered two on Friday. I'll measure them as soon as I get 'em.
Hi I went ahead and bought the 8" one. Originally I was going to use a gooseneck to mount the monitor but now I want to put it in my dash. I have enough room to mount the monitor but I won't be able to see the whole screen since the monitor is 4:3 and my mounting area is 16:9 and it's really bugging me. Is there a way to shrink the viewable area using a third party program or can I do anything from windows display setting at all. I really love the monitor and I would really appreciate any suggestions I could get at all. Thank you.
Apparently, the 8inch screen I got was DOA. I hooked up my PC to a regular power supply using the how-to I found. Great pics btw. I couldn't even get the screen to power up. I bought the replacement plan so I will be calling them in the AM to see how to get another, I think I'm just going to get the 10 inch if I can. Also, my screen had most of the inputs on the side, which was not like the pictures and kinda sucked for my install. I'll update w/what customer service says.
