Just figured I would throw in my 2 cents.

This thread is pretty much what got me started on the idea of building a carpc and since I have ordered the 10.4" screen as well as a backup camera from gooddeals18 and it came quickly, packaging was a little sparse as stated above just the oem boxes inside another box, however inside the oem boxes was sufficient padding so nothing was hurt. Screen seems to work great it is true about 800x600 it starts to get fuzzy, I checked all the resolutions above that as well as varying the refresh rate on each resolution and 800x600 is the highest usable resolution. The drivers were on a standard CD-R which I thought was interesting unlabeled except for the CD-R manufacturers labels, however they installed just fine and worked good right away, I ended up doing the 21 or 25 point calibration and it works great.

Just my thoughts, now I gotta get around to getting it all into my truck instead of sitting on my desk.

Just want a quick opinion. How is this in terms of picture clarity and readability as compared to a xenarc 700IDT?

    Thanks in advance

wow guess I got mine at the right time $189 for the monitor tacked on a $25 rear view camera for the free shipping. Must be getting low on stock or something for the price hike.

All things being equal, I will say again that the service they offered and the shipping times they promised me were 100% excellent. And, I even like both the monitors!

The price has bounced up and down over the past few weeks, and that makes me think of the stock market! If you don't time it just right, you pay more or get a great deal.

It dropped lower than I paid a week or two after I bought it (not that I cared, it was only a few bucks), then it went up again, then it went down and there was a 10% discount on an even lower price. I think at one point you could have got it for like $175 with the discount, and then toss on a gadget for $25.00 and get free shipping.

I wonder why it keeps changing?

BTW you can save a few bucks if you get it on their e-bay auction, not sure if that will always be the case though. http://cgi.ebay.com/new-10-4-CAR-TFT...QQcmdZViewItem

    That is SO messed up!

It was $249.00 5 hours ago (and cheaper on e-bay) when I made the post! Wow! Funny think is, it's worth a-duece-and-a-half, but it is a pretty good deal for under $200.00, if you can use a 10.4" monitor. The 8" is going for $189 BTW.

I might pick up another, or maybe wait a few hours and see if it is less, but if I wait it might go up...

This is exactly why I don't play the stock market.
